Midrash sur Rois 1 18:29

וַֽיְהִי֙ כַּעֲבֹ֣ר הַֽצָּהֳרַ֔יִם וַיִּֽתְנַבְּא֔וּ עַ֖ד לַעֲל֣וֹת הַמִּנְחָ֑ה וְאֵֽין־ק֥וֹל וְאֵין־עֹנֶ֖ה וְאֵ֥ין קָֽשֶׁב׃

L’heure de midi écoulée, leurs transports continuèrent jusqu’au moment de l’oblation; mais nul écho, nulle réponse, pas un signe.

Variantly, "Do not lacerate yourselves," as others do, viz. (I Kings 18:29) "and they lacerated themselves, as was their custom."
